Genuine Film Review considers collaborations that fit thoughtful film viewing and leave editorial judgment intact. We accept clearly identified partner placements and relevant paid collaborations, but never sell control of an independent review.

Relevant collaborations

Possible partnerships may include film-related events, screening programmes, publications, educational initiatives or products that suit readers interested in how films create believable worlds. Tell us what you are proposing, who it serves, what support is involved and where you hope it will appear.

Partner placements

We may accept standing partner placements when they are relevant, lawful and suitable for the publication. Placement is not an endorsement of every claim made by a partner. We review the wording and destination for fit, and label paid or otherwise material relationships clearly.

Editorial boundaries

Payment does not guarantee a review, favourable coverage, a particular conclusion or influence over independent editorial work. We will decline arrangements that obscure who is behind a message, mislead readers or ask us to present advertising as independent criticism.
